We're starting our northwest trek from Canada's Maritime Provinces to Quebec, "La Belle Province". We plan to overnight along the way before reaching Quebec City.  Meanwhile, enjoy a few pictures from our drive yesterday to Cavendish and North Rustico.

Prince Edward Island lighthouse at North Rustico.

Lighthouse Cafe on the red sands.

Lobster boat zoomed in to offload at North Rustico Harbour.

Idle-time for Aqua Nut.

Along the North Rustico coast of PEI.

We loved our Maritime Provinces visits. Beautiful scenery and delicious seafood!

Cruise ship view from our back window at KOA Cornwall. The sand here is RED.

As of this morning we have driven 3,700 miles in 30 days ...

We left our lovely KOA Cornwall, Prince Edward Island at 8:40 am ... drove 53 miles on a bumpy #1 Highway to the Confederation Bridge. The toll was $60.

Stock photo shows the bridge.

At 9:40 we entered New Brunswick and the roads went to pot ... literally, for 40 miles!  Once we got onto the TransCanada they improved considerably.

We stopped before Moncton, NB for a sandwich, to walk the doggies and for Sue's pot of coffee.

Back on the road with 170 miles to travel today.

Maggie, helping Mark navigate potholes. LOL

Tonight, we're stopping in Woodstock, NB on the Saint John River.

I woke Robbie to take this picture! He's such a laid-back traveler. Sweet.

The Saint John River is flooded by #2 Highway.

After our last stop for fuel we decided to forge ahead to Edmunston, NB for the night. It was too early to stop, said Sue.

We have a good road and perfect driving weather, 69F ...
