Mark arrived back about 11, having used his Chrysler gold card for quick service! We thought it was rather goofy when the dealer gave it to us, but we've used it many times. Canada is expensive though, an oil change at home cost $79.95 for our truck and here it was $182. Yikes.
Sue and Wayne are having a part installed at the Prevost center, and will catch up with us later.
So, we left about 12:30 and drove to Montreal, Quebec about 185 miles southwest on the St. Lawrence River.
Arrived at 3 PM, found the gate, paid $55 for three nights which was a special promotion. What a bargain!!! The attendant said "Pick any spot you want." So, we picked a site backing onto the St. Lawrence River, with 30 amp power.
This is the view from our rear window!!! Then, someone drove up in a car, speaking mostly French very little English and said "Let me see your ticket!" Well, of course, we had the wrong color ticket. We had not paid for electricity and yet backed into a site with electricity. Who knew? So, $110 later, we're situated on the St. Lawrence for three nights with 30 amp power. Still a bargain.
Sue and Wayne arrived about 6:30 having been in the Prevost shop until 4 o'clock. Tomorrow we will decide what we want to see.
