We've been using Walkie-talkies between our RVs while on the road. Sue chimed in from the Irving fuel stop ... "Can you see us?" "Yes!" said Julie ... with no device in hand. Mark thought it hilarious!
We finally got to Halifax Harbourfront for dinner; with OnStar and a map Sue bought at Irving's.
The wharf area is busy with tour boats and patrons.
There's a memorial on the island in the background.
Mark photobombed a newscaster on the wharf. LOL
The harbour has grown since our cruise here in '04.
More later ... OK, I'm sitting outside Sobey's in Antigonish ... Mark and Wayne went in for grocery supplies while Sue and I walk dogs. There was a slight kerfuffle when we were trying to get on the highway today, as Wayne, once again, turned the wrong way and ended up going west rather than east. Mark said he was sure glad he wasn't in that coach!!! LOL. Anyway, Wayne made an illegal U-turn on the highway and caught up within 15 minutes! No biggie!
St. Ann's Gaelic College ... On bonny Cape Breton Island. Who knew?
Satellite view of beautiful Cape Breton Island. Our history books are wrong ... Modern-day geologists proved this island was once attached to Scotland ... and oddly enough, it's been settled by the Scottish. The mountains were thought to be part of the Appalachan chain but, no.
