ACADIA NATIONAL PARK - MONDAY MAY 12, 2014

It's a sunny day! We couldn't have asked for nicer weather for driving Acadia!  We took separate vehicles and all 5 dogs; made several stops for scenery and walks.

Sue, Wayne, me and Mark at Acadia.

Although it's mid-spring, the deciduous trees are not wearing their green frocks yet!  LOL. It was a little bare looking.

Overlooking Frenchmen Bay ... 64F.

Sue and Macy, exploring new territory.

Mark with Maggie & Robbie atop Cadillac Mountain.

Seal Harbor ... Lunch at the Lighthouse; an ancient restaurant with flair.

Blueberry Cobbler ... delicious!

We all loved the old tin ceilings ...

and the hand-painted murals ...

and decorative lighthouses.

In fact, this little lighthouse with rotating beacon lamp caused quite a lot of interest. Both Wayne and I wanted one. Our waiter went to ask the owner where she had purchased it. The answer was "M and M Jewelry" in Ellesworth. So, Sue and Wayne have gone in search of a lighthouse for their cottage.

Tonight, our last one in Maine, we are going to the Chart House for dinner.

THIS is where the locals gather ...

Oh, dinner was. G R E A T.  Both Mark and Wayne had whole lobsters while Sue and I had steak and lobster tail. Deliciouso! LOL. TV tonight ... Ba ba ba ba ba bah bu ... ba ba bu bu bu bu buh (Dancing with the Stars)!  LOL
