Sue looked as if I was nuts ... LOL ... I gathered driftwood from the Bay of Fundy for beading wind chime projects at the cottage. (Sue will BEG me for one!).
Looking from the beach toward our RVs. What a great campsite! (Century Farms) ... but 30 miles down a ROUGH road.
Mark waving from the current waterline ... I'm taking it from the high waterline. In these parts, there's a 28' diurnal tide!
Lobster boats sitting high and dry. The tide is about half-way (water going down).
In the St. Martin area, the tide is 28 FEET. But, look farther up the bay ... 49' tide change!
A person really must learn how to tie lines.
We crossed into Nova Scotia around noon ... and the highway improved!
Interesting sign on the 45th parallel.
Arrived 1:15 into KOA Halifax West. We set up and tried to drive to the harbour. Wayne stopped at the office for directions to the waterfront. The KOA guy said that he didn't drive much and didn't know but provided a brochure. Sue read the brochure while Wayne began following OnStar instructions which were sketchy. At the junction, the GPS said straight just as Sue was reading from the brochure ... the detail devil interceded ... and we went right; right onto the wrong damn highway. LOL. Thirteen miles later, Wayne was finally able to turn around. By that time, Sue was cussing up a storm. Wayne was "requested" to drive us back to the KOA ... except he'd already passed Exit 3 to the KOA ... another round with the spaghetti highway before arriving back for a DRINK. LOL. The plan was to feed the dogs and go to Halifax Harbourfront for dinner. When we got out of the Escalade, Mark said he really enjoyed seeing the "Bay of Frustration". LOL
