It's Throwback Thursday and I have a fun picture from around 1995 ... Mags, Mark, Sylvia, Joan and Archie at Nobel Point in Pompano Beach. I recall it was November as they all attended Mark's and my Thanksgiving feast in Boca Raton.
I was up early and put a load of towels in the wash, emptied the dishwasher and readied things for our (now) weekly trip to River Oaks in Longwood. Maggie continues to do extremely well; all lymph nodes are down in size! She has lost another pound but fortunately was a little overweight when this all began. Robbie rides shotgun and keeps Maggie company. Today, she willingly went with the nurse for her treatment. So, I'll watch Monday when we're at the other clinic!
Our next adventure is the dentist for Mark and me. Yay? Well, teeth maintenance must be done!
My dear real estate sales partner, Rhona Spilka, used to say this to me. Although I would have done anything for her, I'm sure my face looked exactly like this black lab's every time she said that!!! LOL.
This afternoon, I had to catch up on paperwork and organize my 2015 calendar. Yes folks, you're lagging behind. Haha. Birthdays and anniversaries are noted on the calendar. Mark chose to putter around outside, it being a beautiful day. He moved the chiminea from the pebble patio and will put lava rock around the base.
Sue, Carol and Jack started bowling in Pompano today. Sue sent this picture ...
Gumby's bowling ball has been found. LOL. OK, so that might be an inside joke, but look at the size of that thumb hole!
Randy had his bike into Harley for a clutch cable issue but all's well now. He's been busy with grass cutting and gardening.
Diane has been working on Quick Books and took a course on it in Orlando last week. Kris has healed nicely from his hip replacement surgery in August and is back to puttering about the fish camp. Diane and I had a good gab and caught up on family news.
That's it for tonight. Hope your day was exactly what you needed.
