SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2014

Good day, eh!

Snoods are high fashion this fall ... reminds me of a hat mom once knitted me. (Mine had a long tassel on the top that Mrs. Juzda's dog Homer ripped off. LOL.) Wow, that was an old, repressed memory.

Fall cleaning continues with many re-dos created by the dust devils aka the window replacement guys. Never mind, everything's clean now and we love our windows!

Randy had motorcycle problems on his Panhandle trip. AAA picked up the bike this morning. Hope it's not too serious! He just had major repair done for an oil leak at Gator Harley. Mechanical issues suck but much worse when you're far from home!

Really? Not one arrow punctured a tire?

Haha. Meow mix?

After watching The Gators win their football game we took the Scotties for a pontoon ride ... and saw a gator. LOL

This little guy was sunning himself on the canal banks a few doors from our house.

Our little guy likes to watch for birds along the canal. It was a beautiful afternoon ... 85F. Lake Eustis was scattered with a dozen colorful sailboats in a regatta. Today, the sails were green, blue, purple and pink, plus half a dozen plain white sails. Once we got to the race course Mark turned us around for home. Maggie loves the breeze in her face so we got up on step for a few minutes. (The new fuel filter is working well!)

Tonight, we're happy to be home; Mark plans to go to the forest in the morning ... and I have no plans. Lovely.
