This was yesterday's happy hour show at K's cottage. Mark wondered where the silver spoon was. LOL
Sue feeding Julius, by hand, in the living room. LOL. He doesn't like to get his beard dirty!
Last night we had a fun dinner at Rose's ... Gorgonzola pear salad, lasagna and garlic bread. It was delicious. We dodged some heavy showers and arrived home to the RV for the night.
At 9:30 we arrived at the border. There were a few cars ahead of us but we got through quickly with no problem. We declared 15 liters of homemade wine ... no questions asked. Great. I thought we may have to pay duty on it.
At 10:45 we stopped in Orr on Pelican Lake for fuel. It's great to be back in America! - $3.77 a gallon for diesel - $107 filled the truck and two 10 gallon jerry cans! As we got the dogs out to walk Mark discovered a tick on Maggie's face. We tried Gavin's method of soaping the tick to loosen it ... then wiggled it out. It was just a brown tick. Poor girl.
Pelican Lake was very pretty! We're "positive" these are our Lake Eustis winter residents. Haha. There were three pairs bobbing about.
After several stops, and rain, rain, rain we arrived at Hinckley's Grand Casino. It was quite full ... many RVers appear to be here for the summer. It's a good spot, sunny and 72 and NO MOSQUITOES! LOL. Maybe there will be some tonight ... we'll see.
Tomorrow, we are driving to St Paul RV Park to be closer to the vet for Thursday's appointment.
