Good morning sunshine! We have a lovely day for our packing. You see, we're leaving the lake tomorrow and heading to Minneapolis. The U of M has a small animal clinic where Miss Maggie will have tests done. We are hoping for good news.
Packing done; it's laundry time. Mark went to fuel up and buy wine!
Tonight, we are going to Rose's for lasagna! What a nice treat, no cooking ... and lasagna is one of our favorites.
A week or so ago, at Marybeth's and Monty's deck party, a friend remarked on a dip I had made. I replied that it was a mix from Biltmore House. "What's Biltmore???" she asked.
Biltmore House is America's largest, privately owned estate, and tourist destination, in Asheville, North Carolina. It's surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains and is a U.S. Historic Landmark.
With 250 rooms there's always room for one more! LOL
The original stables are now cafe and gift shops!
Riding in style at Biltmore.
Circa 1925 ... at the front gate. Grapes are grown for Biltmore's winery ... dairy produced for cheeses and vegetables for their restaurants.
The formal gardens are amazing. Allow two days to visit for an overview. Mark and I have been 4 times and enjoy each season there!
Ta ta.
