THURSDAY, JULY 10, 2014

Good morning! Birds were singing and the sun shining when we left for U of M vet hospital. It was quite a crazy place when we arrived ... a Cairn Terrier, a big English Springer Spaniel (58 lbs), two Labradors, a red Border Collie, a Yorkie, a Shizzle, a Husky, a Boxer and a Pointer-mix. Oddly enough, the only dogs that caused our Scotties to yap were the Boxer and Blonde Lab!

Maggie and Robbie hanging out at the RV park.

Robbie "Square Pants" needs a bigger stair to sit on. LOL. He's off Milk Bones and getting broccoli and green beans for treats.

Mark and Maggie ... Watching TV and getting a pedicure. Haha.

Maggie's diagnosis is lymphoma. The oncology vet "thinks" it may be the very slow-growing type. To be sure, she's having biopsy surgery tomorrow. Results will take 4-5 days.

So ... Mark and I have decided to begin our 1500 mile drive home early Saturday morning. That should put us in Florida Tuesday when results from Maggie's biopsy are available. Gainsville, Florida has a wonderful small animal services at the University where follow-up treatment is available, if need be.

This gray gentleman is Murray, age 16. Isn't he a beautiful Scottie!!! Murray gives us hope for our dogs to live a long life too!

We're enjoying our Minnesota visit. The weather is great ... no humidity and no bugs. The door and windows have been open since we arrived Tuesday!

Tonight, Mark and I went for dinner to relax. Tomorrow's an early start to the vet.
