Mark hooked up a line from the tree to our Dodge.
Randy kept tension on the line with the Dodge while Mark sawed.
That was quite a large branch. They took down three limbs today! There is one left to remove and then they will start working on the tree base. It's a huge tree that has done extensive cracking on the driveway.
Inside the house, where it was 77°, sir Robbie the Bruce relaxed.
I think he was admiring Randy and Dawn's photo. LOL
While lumberjacking, Mark spotted a baby hatchling crossing the road ...
and delivered him to the water's edge where the turtle went in amongst the reeds. What a good guy that Mark is!
Randy and I went to the tax and tag office to transfer the title and register the Mountaineer. As it turned out, we needed Mark with us to sign. While we were waiting for him to arrive in Randy's truck, we talked with clerk James. He was so much fun, and let us stay at his window booth while we waited for Mark ... about a half hour! By the time he walked in, James had heard the story of "A" & "B" and recommended a special license plate. We had lots of laughs ...
and Mark was surprised with a "Deer" license plate. The birthday fun continues!
Dawn missed all the fun today as she was working. :-(
Back at home, Mark put his new license plate on (with Lew's supervision). LOL. They looked like two excited kids. Haha. I added the vehicle to our insurance, so all's done. Or so I thought. Mark wanted a wheel cover ordered ...
Done. Let's sing the birthday song (again.) LOL
So that was our busy day ... some work ... lots of laughs. Ta ta.
