Our Temo Sunroom has had an intermittent roof leak over the past year ... unusual as a torrential downpour doesn't cause it, but once in a blue moon I find water in my trash by the desk. Strange. Anyway, we have a lifetime warranty ... so let the game begin. "Frick & Frack" are scheduled this morning. LOL
This afternoon, Simplex is scheduled to work on the front porch ... maybe finish today??? We'll see.
Meanwhile, we plan to meet RanDawn at the bowling alley for a couple of games at 1ish.
So, that was the plan. I went to the post office with a package and on to Walgreens for a few items. When I arrived home 45 minutes later, there were trucks everywhere! Haha. Lowes was delivering new appliances to Lynn & Lew's ... Simplex was working on our front porch and Fairbanks Construction's repair team were on the Sunroom's roof.
Randy, Dawn and Makenna arrived about 1130 for a visit. After a soda and a few gingersnaps, Makenna was ready for fun. Haha. She'll keep them on their toes today!
At 1:30, Budget Air Conditioning arrived to check why our AC was running a long time. That too was great service as he was just putting us in around other appointments. Good deal. The A/C needed a charge ... no biggie.
By 4 o'clock we were on our way bowling. There were distractions today ... 9 little kids bowling right beside us and their mothers oblivious to mayhem!
LOL ... What a mug!
Our pal Rich, aka "ball buster", came to see how Randy was doing with the gutter guards up. Haha.
Busted, Randy! (Note the Orange flame ball) ... Heehee.
Despite all the ado, we had pretty good games!
Our lane didn't keep score well at all ... it missed scoring spares several times. At one point, Dawn sashayed to the front desk for a correction to her score. She came back with a STRIKE. Haha. Later in the game I had the same thing happen ... and came back with a STRIKE too. LOL. Randy called us cheaters ... (Put lipstick on before you go to the front desk!) ;-)
When Mark and I left the Bowling Alley, RanDawn and Makenna we're going to the game room. We walked outside and Mark spotted ...
the car 9 kids must have arrived in ... the door left open. Haha. Oblivious mothers!!!
Robbie was happy to see us home to make his dinner at 6 o'clock. Mark put pizza on the Pizzazz for us ... and "pizza bones" for Robs. (RanDawn went to the Hideaway ... it was on their way home.)
We've begun watching "Ray Donovan" on Showtime. It's into Season 3 already so a good chance for us to enjoy some "On Demand" commercial free TV time.
Tomorrow's another day. Ha ha. Ta ta.
