Our lunch was Randy's excellent Eggplant Parmesan (leftovers)! Oh it's GOOD.
I've been practicing "tying pearls" ... actually the knots between the beads, getting ready to make a few glamour pieces next week. Mark took a drive with the truck for a few pieces of sod to cover the old tree rubble area. All the palms are planted and soaking up water.
Randy called Mark and we decided on a practice round of bowling at 3:30. Dawn was at work so missed the 4 flying gutter balls that picked up a spare, knocked down 7 pins, another 4 pins and then 2 pins. LOL. In the end, Randy deliberately through a gutter ball and got 2 of 3 pins on a split. LOL. Rich, a crazy front desk personality at the bowling alley looked up when Randy's ball went into the gutter ... LOL ... Rich yelled, "That'll cost you a buck!" Well, I was laughing so hard I had to dry my eyes. Randy's good form was finished after that one. What a great time we had ... with all our aches and pains. It was hot when we came out to the parking lot ... 102 on the car's thermometer ... actually 92 air temp. Whew.
At home, we got things organized in time for a 7 o'clock glass of wine and Mark's eggplant meatloaf. It was very good! So that was our day ... nice and neat. Tomorrow's the 4th ... BBQs ... fireworks and fun. Ta ta.
