THURSDAY JULY 9, 2015

Good morning. Our front porch project has been approved by the zoning board! We needed a variance, did the legwork, and got it approved. Yay. Simplex's two person work crew arrived at 1 pm. Great service! 

Meanwhile, Mark went on a bunch of errands this morning. Of course there was our usual post office stop, then Ace Hardware for a secondary key for the Mountaineer ... $78 later (it was a "chip" key), then to the Humane Society resale shop on CR 473. Mark was looking for a very large T-shirt to use as a seat cover on "Da Mounty". When he first walked into the store, a large woman's denim dress caught his eye. Thinking it might be great as a seat cover, he grabbed the hanger and began to examine the dress. A woman's voice said, "You're in the WRONG DEPARTMENT!!! The men's clothes are down the hall." Heeheehee. He arrived home with a good story and a size 3X man's T-shirt. No dress! LOL 

After my chores were done, I worked on another Pearl necklace for sale on eBay. 

It's iridescent ... nice salt water pearls. 

The porch roof is up! Tomorrow ... maybe finish? Hope so. 

I'm hearing thunder ... just like the past few evenings! It cools us down nicely. Sweet. 

Tomorrow, we're meeting RanDawn and granddaughter Makenna for bowling at 1 o'clock. I guess our flying gutter balls and GB fund will take a break as we'll have the rails up. Fun! 

After 2 hours on the phone with Comcast, we got a better deal than we've ever had that includes Wi-Fi. Randy and Dawn might want to sign up for the same deal. I'm worn out. LOL
