TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2014

Good day y'all. We're off to Chattanooga, Atlanta and beyond. We were lucky the heavy weather went south of us last night. We had a thunderstorm, but just light rain.

The unseasonal cold front will cause intense storms and rain today. We got on the highway by 7:30 and hope we're ahead of the worst of storms.

Here's what's happening while we roll along.

Mel and Miles are in the UK for Connie's graduation from Leeds. Cool cat Miles is happy to see big brother, Alex.

Wayne & Sue sent this photo ...
Goldfinchs visiting their bird feeder at the cottage.

Hugh from Australia posted this photo of his daughter, Rebecca & son-in-law, Mat at the Medieval Festival.
Great costumes!

Sue sent this photo of Rose picking her up to go golfing.
Nice ride, Rose!

No, I have no idea who this is ...
but she sure is adorable!

We drove through the center of Atlanta at 1 o'clock with no delay. At exit 102 we went to Flying J for fuel. First, their signage was poor and we missed the turn. When we got turned around and into the RV bay, the fuel card swipe was not working! Mark went into the store while I walked the dogs. The attendant said, "We don't trust anyone!" (Flying J wanted him to say "exactly" how much fuel he'd need.) Mark wanted to fill up on his Visa. No dice. Whatever. We got $75 and left. With our 3 cent Good Sam reduction we paid 4 cents more than BP. Goodbye Flying J. Never again!

Maggie got comfortable with the cooler. Mark wanted a snack ... but, sorry, I didn't want to disturb Mags. LOL

After rain and more rain we arrived 4:30 Eastern time at KOA Tifton. Yay. Mark and Maggie were tired. Robbie sleeps anyway ... and I was ready to stretch. Tomorrow, 230 miles HOME.
