Today we solemnly remember those who serve and served in our armed forces. Thank a veteran for your freedom.
Mark was up early and off to his happy hunting ground. This morning, he shot a small buck. Oh boy, venison. This year, he took it to a butcher to be dressed. Maybe there will be more usable meat. Venison chili is in his future. I'm not a fan of it, preferring Black Angus rib-eye steak. LOL
Sue phoned with news that Julius had a seizure this morning! The heart specialist vet appointment was cancelled and one made with a neurologist tomorrow. It sounds quite bad. Hope not ... Julius is a dear little guy.
Meanwhile. Robbie seems a little better today after Benadryl for a couple of days, but we're taking him to the vet for a checkup! Yesterday, Mark let Robbie lead the walk rather than tug him along behind. He went to the car, sat down and looked at Mark. We think he's gotten used to taking two rides a week to the vet and likes the excitement. Haha. He won't be as enthusiastic now that it's his turn to go. ;-)
Update. Robbie has a rash caused by a bug bite. He has antibiotics and anti-itch spray. $$$. The vet told us it was okay to give him up to three Benadryl a day!!! That would knock me out!!
This evening, we went to Randy's for dinner. His friend Dan brought steaks, and Randy did salad, twice baked potatoes and lobster for dinner. It was a regular feast! Our mere contribution was razzleberry pie and ice cream. We had a lot of laughs and we're home by 1030.
This evening, Sue and Wayne were at the vet with Julius. He suffered a terrible seizure later today. We hope he will recover. So worried.
Ta ta.
