Good day y'all. It's a lovely 54°F this morning. Brr

Mark's homemade Bolognese sauce (with ground turkey), was a hit last night. He served it over penne pasta. Between the four of us, we ate a loaf of Publix five grain bread with the pasta dish. Pigappotomus indeed. LOL.

This morning, Mark went deer hunting with Lew. It's the first time they've gone together this season! So, here I sit (enjoying the peace and quiet) with my Christmas tree lit and a blazing log on the fireplace. Life is good, indeed. It's time to make my Christmas list.

Did I mention that Mark and I both got a new iPhone 6? The camera is amazing, so you can expect even better pictures in the blog now! LOL. (All blog pictures thus far, were taken with my iPhone 4S ... so this is quite an upgrade.)

Thanks to ComicKingdom.com ... our Sunday funnies.

About 50 of the old time favorites are available on their website!

Mark arrived home at 11, having spotted just two doe this morning. Another hunter fired a shot somewhere behind where Mark was sitting in his tree stand! It scared the pants off him! So, now, he's out playing lumberjack and taking down a tree in the backyard! (I guess that gunshot got his adrenaline up!) LOL

I thought this was kind of funny ...

Hee hee.

And, this funny from my cousin Hugh in Australia.

What's ...
True enough. 😄

Mark and I are trying to ignore the elephant in the room. Maggie's lymph nodes are growing again. Today, the ones under her throat feel hard! We have an appointment for Thursday for another chemo treatment, but it's going to have to be a different type of chemotherapy drug. Tomorrow, I'll make another call to the vet and see what he's found out. It's friggin nerve racking. Last night, she brightened up when Randy came over and was her playful self. Poor doggie. We're trying ...

So, this afternoon we're going to The Hideaway to meet Randy and Dawn. We're invited over for dinner afterwards. We'll drop the doggies off at Randy's for the afternoon then them and listen to the Nashville music. (Randy's is just 10 minutes from there so we can easily go let them out!) Nice.

Boogie nights at The Hideaway with Dillon & West.

These fellows from Nashville put on quite a good show! We had a great afternoon and made new friends! Afterward, we went back to Randy's and had grilled chicken and Dawn's cheesy potatoes. It was great. We were home by 9:30 and ready to watch our show, Homeland.

Ta ta. Hope your Sunday was great!
