SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2014

Happy Saturday, y'all. The moonshine was beautiful this cool morning as Mark left for the Ocala Forest at 4:45.

I heard it through the grapevine, LOL, that Kris is working on The Villages home and finishing up renovation for their Thanksgiving dinner soirée. I also heard that Diane is at the Fishcamp working on an accounting program. It isn't long ago Kris had a hip replaced ... guess he's doing well.

Sue is busy setting up an eBay store to benefit Shih Tzu rescue. Tonight, she and Wayne are going to the Sawgrass Nature Center's annual fundraiser. It sounds like things are busy at their house!

Me? Puttering around with Christmas decor ... for probably another week! Haha.

This evening, we went to Aunt Jane and Cliff's new home for dinner with Mark's cousins Kathie, Barb and Donnie.

Sammie is doing well ... age 13-14 now. She settled into their new house nicely! (No stairs; easier on all occupants!) haha.

Donnie painted five homes in Newburyport this summer and is enjoying a little R 'n R now. He expects to keep fairly busy over winter as he also does some jobs with a carpenter friend.

Pat Johnson is always delighted to spend time with friends. (She loved her pal Uncle Don who passed away in 2009.) Barb, also in photo, is Don's daughter.

L-R Gene (Pat's husband who has survived 6+ years with Stage 4 lung cancer); Jane's daughter Kathie from Buffalo, Aunt Jane and her friend Colette.  (Cliff and Mark missed the photos tonight!) LOL

There was plenty of homemade food ... the fixin's for tacos, a pot of chili, deviled eggs, assorted meats and cheeses ... with plenty of wine. It was a nice evening! Just as we thought about heading home, Jane brought out a beautiful cake with ice cream. Whew! We're stuffed!

Good night; sleep tight.
