MaryBeth baked a wonderful wild blueberry pie ... and there was a pineapple bean salad, potato salad, burgers and hot dogs. Monty did the grilling. Tom Flom, a tiny Shih Tsu, made his appearance for half an hour before climbing the stairs to bed.
TwoWaggingTales came up in conversation. Sue was CERTAIN ... no downright POSITIVE the Blog name had an apostrophe in place of the "g". Joyce wondered aloud and wound up in Sue's argument. The antics continued long past the proof on MaryBeth's iPad. Jim was absolutely delighted Sue and Joyce would have to admit defeat that he prepared a "letter" they should sign. It was comical. Joyce signed, but Sue would not admit defeat. Jim loved it all.
And so we all headed home after a fun night. LOL
Julie captured the moon's reflection on their ride home.
Today began warm and sunny. Wayne and Mark went to Home Hardware for project supplies. Julie is hanging sage green curtains to go with the new bedding on the queen bed.
Sue is preparing Beefsteak Italian for tonight. Yummy.
Rick Moir called to see how everyone is and chatted. It was good to hear from him. He and Ruth leave home the first of October for Florida and we'll be happy to see them there!
Wayne is taking Shorty for a haircut today. Get the band aids and Polysporin ready. LOL
The lord and master, Shorty, with Wayne. :-)))
Mark tidied around the new shed and burned the brush.
Mark quite obviously loves this chore. Haha.
