MONDAY OCTOBER 5, 2015

Good morning. I slept in until 830, but Mark left home at 5 o'clock for bow hunting! He certainly loves mornings in the woods. On his way home, Mark stopped to buy some pilings for our front door project. In the sales office, he saw a mounted deer head and commented, "That's what I was looking for today!" A conversation ensued, and long story short, Mark was given six good size pilings free. What a deal!

The morning news was all about the 1 in 1000 year flooding in South Carolina. I checked in with Olivia and Derek; their area is fine, lots of rain, but no flooding. This has been "another" year of worst case scenario weather events.

Happy Hour ... overlooking our "Pelican" display. Today was gorgeous! No A/C needed ... 74F and "dry"!

Mark's latest project. The first bird to drink ... a Bluebird! Cool.

Me? I made two jewelry sets ... a coral fossil stone necklace set, and double strand red coral cupolini necklace. (I haven't photo'd them yet.)

Sue was busy with eBay for Shizzle Rescue with several recent sales. Cool. Today is the 4th anniversary of Shorty's adoption.

Shorty Hot Pants looking content on his dad's lap. He's Wayne's doggie for sure.

Randy phoned today. He was painting again today; the crown moldings installation was completed yester day! It's nearly ready for us to drop in for HH. LOL.

I think that was our day! Tomorrow, our Dodge gets a well deserved oil change and engine wash. Ta ta.
