(See, we DO get color!)
Early this morning, Mark, Robbie and I took the Grand Junction to Giant Recreation in Winter Garden for "stink" repair! We arrived at 10 o'clock, and by 10;15 our RV was in a bay! (They're great!) Mark tried to put the jacks down, but found our RV batteries dead, just an hours' ride from home. I was at the service desk making out the work order when he called. "Add 2 batteries to the list!"
As I explained the chain of events leading up to the odor, the service rep said, "It's likely your batteries drained down, then fried!" He explained that when they "die" and you recharge them, they can produce a sulfur odor! Really??? The batteries did that?
Well, we left the RV there all day while Giant waited for the old batteries to charge up. Sure enough, once they were charged, the smell was "pretty bad!"
New batteries were installed and are charging overnight. They will check for odor in the morning and, if all is well, we will bring it home tomorrow. Yay. While there, I renewed our gold card membership ($20). This gives us a 20% off on service labor, and 15% off on parts plus a camping get together once a month! Hey, we're in. LOL. (This is a great company!)
Back home, Mark whipped up a casserole for supper with chicken, potatoes, peas and cheese. (It was so good that we are it all!) LOL
Here's your "aw" moment of the day ...
Nephew Bob (and Tracy's) adorable children!
So that's all for tonight here. Sue & Wayne went dancing; Randy & Dawn are with Greg & Sue in Daytona Beach.
Okay ... here's another "aw" picture ...
Dawn and Sue ... twin tops? (Thanks Greg, for the pic!)
Ta ta til tomorrow. (Ancient Aliens is on now!)
