FRIDAY JUNE 12, 2015

It was a gloomy start to our day, well weather wise ... otherwise, all's well. LOL

Mark resumed painting the dining room chairs, me, eBay listings and Robbie, watching the action next door. Both homes to the north of us needed a new septic field dug! Egad. I hope we're not next!!!

Do you recall your mother telling "stories" about you ...

HA! Funny. (I do ... always the most embarrassing!)

This afternoon, Mark and I went bowling, just to loosen up. We hadn't been for awhile as Mark's had a sore knee and hand ... and me, a sore back and cramping leg. Yikes ... this gettin' old ain't for sissies! There were 100's of kids bowling today, but at either ends of the bowling alley. I can't blame them for my lousy throws. Ha ha. Mark averaged in the 150s, me, I'd hate to say but my last game was 118. Randy and Dawn spent their morning tidying up her property for Makenna's birthday party tomorrow! It'll be a big party, with a bounce house for the kids! So, they did not bowl with us today.

At happy hour, Mark talked about planting tomatoes behind the shed. It reminded me of this ditty I've been saving for the right segue ...

Aw, so cute! LOL

Speaking of happy hour, Mark was talking about his upcoming birthday and special present he's getting ... "a huntin' truck!" LOL. Somewhere in that jibber-jabber Rick Moir's name came up. It seemed fun to tell Rick about Mark's good luck. Well, Rick sent back a memo saying "What a coincidence..." he'd just bought a hunting truck ! And, here it is ...

Hahaha. Love it. I burst out laughing. You got us Rick.

Tomorrow, Mark and I are going to Eaton Beach in Weirsdale with Lew & Lynn for lunch. It's a lakefront bar and restaurant.

So that was our day. Not too exciting, but we accomplished a lot of necessary things and had some laughs.

Sue and Wayne went dancing this afternoon at the Kenora Legion, for the first time this summer. Tonight, Wayne was cooking chicken and Rose was popping in as her driveway was being ashphalted today.

That's it. Ta ta.
