Good morning y'all. It's a gorgeous, bright sunny day here in Central Florida. Our forecast is 82°.
Last night's dinner at Stavros wasn't without humor. Both Mark and Dawn ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and mushrooms. This led to a story about my mushroom allergy ... over-consumption of the fungal delights due to Loveday Mushroom Farm awesome produce in Winnipeg ... then my move to Florida, with mold and mildew abundance. So during the course of dinner, we were all reminiscing and I remembered the story of the "Mildew People". LOL. When I was working for ERA Trendsetter Realty, I had a family of clients from Brooklyn, New York. They lived in a basement apartment there and were looking for two or three properties in Florida. Of course I was very busy with them over the course of a week or two. Okay, so that's the set up. Those people smelled like mildew. Yuck. Every morning they came into my office and I'd preview what we were going to see and I would absolutely have an allergy attack. It was so bad, I had to take allergy pills during the weeks I worked with them! I drove them around with my sun roof open and the A/C blasting. Haha ... even when it started raining!
So, we just finished that conversation at Stavros Pizza and 4 people walked past our table to a booth near us when one woman stopped and peered over Randy and Dawn's heads to see what they were eating! Weird, I know, but that's the honest truth. Stranger yet, was all four of us got a whiff of her mildew smell!!! Coincidence? After we all went yuck, we laughed ... could there be a perfume that smells like mildew??? Dawn wondered if iPhone's "Siri" would know ...
... and Siri found this ... so I guess some people just like to smell like mildew!
It's 3 o'clock and bowling begins! Randy & Dawn are polishing the balls ... of course Randy is humoring the staff at the counter. LOL. we had our usual lots of laughs, and the gutter ball funds received $9 ... we sure hope to be lucky with the scratch off lotto tickets. Mark is now averaging 160 with his four dollar bowling ball ... way to go, Mark! (He hasn't paid into the GBF yet!!!). Randy, Dawn & I are taking a group lesson with Willie next week. Randy suggested a double of his choice of drink before our lesson. Haha.
Dawn showing off her good form - and co-ordination; color-co-ordination. ;-)
Good job!!! Steee-rike!!!
Maybe I can get form like this after our group lesson ...
Nice, very nice! LOL
So that was our day. Hope your Tuesday was great. Ta ta.
