It's day two of the community garage sale, although much slower paced today. A bicycle, footstool and 6 pair of earrings sold. Ta daaa! (I didn't mind as everything was in the craft room with big door open.)
Our weather did a flip-flop from yesterday 's 83 to 63 now. Crazy! No complaints here, mind you. Saranac Lake in New York was -29F today; a record. Yikes.
At 1:30, Robbie had a vet appointment. He's getting little bites that look like a pimple, and then get itchy. Of course then he scratches, and makes it sore. Poor guy! Diagnosis, unknown. Whatever he's bitten by ... even gnats, causes an allergic reaction, scratching and secondary infection. The good news is we purchased a $5 fundraiser card at Eustis's humane society store 4 months ago that gives us FREE vet visits til end of 2015! Crazy, right? That's a $45 saving on each vet visit ... so we only paid for medications! (There are other great savings with that card, too!)
Mark cooked chicken and my favorite, pan-seared asparagus with garlic and parmigiana cheese. It was great. And now, TV ... Vikings, Blacklist, Blue Bloods and 60 Minutes.
Ta ta. Hope your Friday was good, very good.
