Freakin' cold !!! We covered our delicate plants last night ... for the first time in 4 years. Sorry. Everyone's had a terribly cold winter in North America and here I am crying about possible frost! I woke up with a headache at 4:30; it's 37F; no frost yet.

Pearl with Dawn at Rosemary Horse Sanctuary ... the strongest woman I know ... five years ago, Dawn left her NYC job to start a horse rescue. She currently has 50 rescued horses today. Many others have already been rehabilitated and adopted. Fifty are available as saddle pals and some as pasture pets. Dawn is a angel.
