G'day, eh? Mark is sleeping later than usual ... it's just me and the tick-tock grandfather clock. Maggie and Robbie went outside for a minute, came in for a Milk Bone and then back to bed.
Last night, Randy called about 9:30 to say Linda had a terrible day. She was very lethargic and refused to get dressed the whole day. We discussed the two medications that Dr Young prescribed last Wednesday; Linda seemed fine with them on Thursday and Friday when we saw her. It seems, her body can't process them, and they built up in her system. She needs them, though. One is for anxiety and the other to regulate her heart rate. Randy thought he'd try half the dose this morning ... we'll stop in today to visit.
After chores and Walmart "stockup" shopping, we took the Scotties to visit Linda and Randy ... along with 4 Burger King shakes. We sat in the screened porch and enjoyed seeing Randy's photo albums that he recently assembled. Along with photos, Randy's mom saved newspaper clippings. One paper, with his birth announcement, also mentioned J. Gauthier in a "Whist" game at the Pirate's Community Club. Our friend, Jim Gauthier, grew up in the same neighborhood as Randy and this would be his mother, J. Gauthier. Indeed "It's a small small world that we live in."
