We had an easy drive to San Antonio and got set up at Travelers RV resort. We enjoyed San Antonio's Riverwalk area and an early supper at the Casa Ria after a River barge cruise.
December 29, 2011 we took a trolley tour of San Antonio. Later we took a bicycle taxi to a western saloon downtown and had a very good lunch. We drove Historic King William District and then went home for a quiet evening. San Antonio is an awesome city and we would come again.
December 30, San Antonio to Burleson

We left San Antonio at 7:42 AM and arrived Austin at 9:12 AM. We saw a flower top building near Lady Bird Lake. On I 35 going north, in future take the high road. The low road is only 13'7" clearance. We saw flower shaped solar panels which were really neat.
At 11:45 PM we stopped to walk the dogs at a picnic area outside of Waco, it was 63 and sunny.
At noon we had a fuel stop at Exxon.
12:30 PM we arrived at Burleson's Rustic Ranch RV Park. Although we had a nice night, it was very noisy with traffic. What a great park to come to with kids.
December 31, 2011 we left Burleson at 9:40 AM. At 11:05 PM we crossed into Oklahoma. Arrived home, Twin Fountains RV park at 1:30. Dodge mileage 41,895 miles. Our Christmas trip was 1582 miles
