VETERANS DAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2015

Good morning, from cool Central Florida. It feels great sitting on the front porch writing this! Mark and Lew have just left for their Ocala Forest hike. It was Lew's turn to drive, so Da Mounty sits on the driveway. I heard them practicing their unique whistles to each other. Cute. Haha.

Hmmm, I HOPE they took Da Mounty as it's not in on our driveway now at 11 a.m.  My power of observation was diminished earlier. Haha.

Robbie and I are waiting for the birds to discover the fresh seed in the feeder. We hear the cardinals ...  Our neighbor Steve is working on his sprinklers. He amazes us ...

as Steve (78) has congestive heart failure and is on the waiting list for lung transplants. Yet, he toils away when many with his affliction would lay in bed.

Mark took Lew to lunch at the Mason Jar today as a Veterans Day tribute. Lew is a Marine who served in Vietnam. They had a good time walking about in the forest.  Saturday, hunting season opens for deer.

It's "Soup" day. Mark's cooking a great batch ... slim us down before, er, Thanksgiving? (Impossible, but we're thinking healthy!) LOL

Me? I listed about 10 new items today on eBay then went into the spa to rejuvenate. Now, it's Telly time. Ta ta.
