Mark, Lew and Ben went hunting this morning. Apparently, Ben ate 42 hot chicken wings last night and had 3 emergency stops on the way to the forest. LOL. Anyway, deer were seen but not harmed. The guys arrived home about 11:30.
After some thinking, I decided my tree topper needed its own circle of lights. Off to Joann Fabrics I went where I bought 35 (more) lights, 4 gold candles for the tablescapes and 2 red poinsettias for the front porch. Mark helped me stabilize the topper after I added lights. (The topper must lift off the tree for closet storage.)
After some cussing, we got it done! Of course there's much more to be accomplished! But for today, that's enough.
Sue and Wayne are meeting Rose at Bonefish Grill for dinner tonight. (Mark cooked grouper for us tonight but the fish was too fishy for me. Haha. Mark soaked it in buttermilk all afternoon, but it was still too strong for moi.)
Randy and Dawn took the motorcycle for a ride and then to the Hideaway to watch a football game on TV.
Tonight, "Homeland" is on TV. It's one of our favorite series. So, that's it for today.
