Ha ha. When I made the bed this morning I discovered a big tuft of hair, from Robbie Square Pants! I guess that's why he snarled at Mark.
It's game day at friend Nancy's home this afternoon. Yay. While I was getting ready for my afternoon out, Mark went to Walmart for a few things that we can only buy there! (Walmart has the best chicken and prices on wine!) Also, he's checking the resolution quality on our home security cameras. (Apparently the quality is fantastic, and there I am in my nightgown filling the birdbath!) LOL
We heard from our friend Jim G in Canada that he sold his Kendall Inlet cottage and closes in October. That's absolutely perfect as his new place will be ready come April. We're so happy things are working out for Jim! Yay!
Game day was crazy fun ... too much vino perhaps? We played Balderdash ... shovelfuls of bull-crap with every round. Hahaha. There were 11 of us today.
Mark was very busy finishing the kitchen backsplash ... and it looks awesome! Tomorrow, I promise to take photos!
Sue phoned this evening for a gab. Larry, Maggi and Wayne went with Jim by boat to see his new cottage tonight. Sue told me a funny story about playing Mexican Dominoes last night. Maggi brought brownies and they all had a piece. Everyone ate theirs except for Larry who preferred to nibble on the brownie, bit by bit. Shorty Hotpants couldn't stand it and jumped into the chair beside Larry, and snatched the brownie off his plate. Sue shrieked, Shorty opened his mouth, Larry grabbed the brownie from Shorty's mouth and popped it in his own and ate it. LOL. Larry had no fear as he didn't know Shorty is a biter. Haha. We had a good laugh.
