TUESDAY APRIL 7, 2015

The Good morning y'all. It's forecast to be 81F here today!

Jack & Carol ... celebrating Jack's birthday with a dance. Happy Birthday to youuuu! ;-) ... at Pompano's Tiki Hut on the beach. Thank you Sue & Wayne for the great pic.

This morning, Mark started a pork roast in the smoker. I wanted to invite friends, but he said this is a "trial run." He had a mixture of sugars and spices to add during the all-day process.

Me, it was household laundry day and also washing 3 jackets and 4 knee braces for eBay ads. Haha. (Sue sold three pair of women's panties, not hers, ha ha, for $9 on eBay!!!) Egad. LOL. Now we're ALL wondering whose panties they were???

Today, Tampa Bay had a fantabulous waterspout!!!

Awesome textbook example! Wowser.  Wouldn't it be awesome to boat into that!!! Are we in Okladokie??? LOL. OK, I've been over served! Hahaha.

After years and years of telemarketing calls, Mark and I finally figured out how to deal with them. When they answer, day "Goal laws your money and Shea Shea auntie I need a Judia Paalaa me at all. Lies your Maurier. Ta ta."  And they will hang up on you first. Hahaha.

Howdy pork lovers (eaters!).
It's carving time. (I can't tell you how awesome it smells!!! Yumm!) Hmmm, Marky loves it ... me??? 10 more hours!!! Haha.

Alright. We were not impressed. The next time Mark will try something different. The meat was nicely cooked, it was tender, but it did not have the flavor that a restaurant smoker gives it. WTF. I suspect, it must be basted, often. Otherwise, how would the flavor of the caramelized sugar bake in ???

Well, it has turned into a "Partay!" ... of two. We wish we had friends to share in the moment.

Meanwhile, Tony, Aurelia & Chessie are in Oklahoma City tonight. The San Antonio Spurs are battling the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team. Go OKC!!!👏

Here are pictures of the Devon Tower, that Mark worked on for a year and a half in Oklahoma City. Go thunder!!!

MONDAY APRIL 6, 2015

Allergy cough attacks suck! (Yesterday was breezy ... I sat outside for 3 hours = congestion and hacking.) Darn. Anywho, it's 4 a.m. and I'm here. ;-)

Good afternoon! Ha! Mark and I were out by 10:15 to post 6 parcels. By the time I finished, 4 people were impatiently standing in line. LOL. One old lady was jingling her bracelet like it would speed up the process. NOT. (I briefly thought it was a dog's collar making the sound and looked around for the dog! Hahaha. She didn't jingle after that!!!) LOL

Isn't this a COOL bug? Mark (aka Eagle-Eye) spied it on a flower at Randy's.

At home, Mark and Robbie puttered about in the boathouse while I cleaned some vintage jewelry for listing on eBay. (I'm vintage, so plenty of my jewelry collection is vintage!) HA! Anyway, I listed two pair of gold earrings, one with Sleeping Beauty turquoise.

How was your MONDAY? The person below didn't get the position he applied for. Tough luck.

EASTER SUNDAY, 2015

Happy Easter!
Elaine Tawns in Australia posted this cute picture! Haha. Love it.

Mark slept in while I wrestled with eBay orders! Really!!! Six items sold this weekend ... and three items needed a custom made box. I made the two easiest boxes; Mark created the 57" long x 7 1/4 high x 5" wide box. What a job!

At noon, we heard from George & Kelly. They were at the Hideaway ... so we got dressed and went for a visit. Randy and Dawn arrived about 2:30 and joined us. Tommy Dee was singing and playing today. He does a very good Elvis impersonation.

Tommy Dee as Elvis. LOL

A lovely 79F afternoon!

Kelly & George ... Engagement news!

We came home about 5 to walk and feed Robbie. (He wouldn't have enjoyed today ... too much noise for him!)

Mark made us a kale salad with sunflower seeds and shredded cheese for dinner. Perfect!

I hope your EASTER was perfect too.

SATURDAY APRIL 4, 2015

Good morning. It's Easter Eve, if you will. Today's adventure includes making pink Easter cupcakes for Randy and Dawn's Easter party later today. (Her children will be there, so we will try NOT to have a "Partay!") LOL. Just a nice normal party would be fine. Ha ha. We'll see.

Mark decided it was time to clean the eavestroughs, a.k.a. gutters, on the boathouse. Robbie was outside helping his dad for about an hour, and got too warm!

"Elvis" ... and the boathouse roof. LOL

I've been selling car (or truck) rear view mirror charms on eBay. They seem to be quite popular, so I made 10 more last night and finished them this morning. (All different!) Here's an odd thing. We've been trying to buy a regular AM/FM radio that plugs in. You know it's almost impossible to find. There have been two radios on eBay auction priced at $9.99 for a start, and both have sold well into the $20 range ... plus shipping.

"Moon Music" car charm ... high heels, crystal ball & heart charms. $5.99

Sue and Wayne are having a quiet Easter at home. The "Elks" is having their annual dinner, but it's booked already! Wa-waaa. Here's a picture of Wayne and Shorty watching TV together last night ...

Cute! Twins???

Meanwhile, Julius snuggled with his wubby bunny.

At "RanDawn's" wee Charlotte FELL ASLEEP eating a strawberry cupcake! Haha. Sugar overload!!!

McKenna with Mark and Robbie on the dock. A big gator swam past us!
Three cuties!!! Muahhh!

The Heron was another guest at the party.  The new roof looks great, doesn't it?

It's ten o'clock, and we're headed home. Tomorrow, we're meeting Randy and Dawn at the "Hideaway" for the afternoon.

Hey, Mark is messing up Siri while I dictate! Neville Longbottom(WTF???) So, now he is going to give Siri a sentence, and this is what his voice sounds like to Siri "yup"!  LOL. WHATEVER. HAHA. TA TA.

FRIDAY APRIL 3, 2015

Good day! I was up early (enough) to wrap an eBay sale for mailing. Mark was still asleep at 8:30 so I took Rascal Robbie outside to the backyard; but he refused to do his business! He was holding out for a walk with his daddy. Haha.

Diane and Kris are in the process of buying another property. They stopped in for a visit and to pick up a lock box for the door. The new property is in Lady Lake. It will be a rental property plus will give Kris more storage for "his" toys!

After getting our chores done, we met Randy and Dawn for bowling. It had been a couple of weeks since we played. Mark was fantastic! (I had a good game of 128, but after a few beer, the next game went downhill.) Randy beat both Dawn and I in the last game, coming in second. Woohoo!  It was lots of fun!!!  They've gone Easter shopping now. Dawn's family is getting together tomorrow for an afternoon at the local water park. Mark and I are invited to join them for pizza afterward.

Tonight, we're having a quiet one, by design. Hope your day was just what you needed.

THURSDAY APRIL 2, 2015

Good morning! I'm up early with allergy stuffiness ... never fear ... Diet Sunkist Orange is here! Haha. (It's my tincture!)

So I put the TV on and found "Long Island Medium" ... Theresa & Larry were in Texas learning the two-step. Within a few minutes, Mark appeared, unable to sleep any longer, ready to take Robbie for a walk. The funny thing was, Robbie was still snuggled up in his bed asleep. Tell me, whose dog sleeps in??? LOL.

Mag-Pies Glitter had a jewelry sale/shipment to Queensland Australia today! Cool. I thought the postage would be out rages, but for one item, it's not too bad. (About double the USA rate.) come to think of it, I think Canada is about double the USA rate too! So, it's Mark's day to go to the post office.

The bottom picture doesn't look accurate; it's hard to know whether to use a flash or not. (Actually, Mark takes better jewelry pictures than me!)

We decided on lunch at Palm Gardens as "Mrs. R B" needed fuel. Robbie loved the ride ... and sat at the table with us! Haha.

It was a gorgeous afternoon ... warm and no humidity!

It's "Ya Ya's" tonight for me. (Mark is going to Lew's for a visit tonight ... and taking a Macanudo cigar!)

Sue, Scott and Jack had a good bowling day! Nice! Glad Scott has joined the fun. Why were Greg & Sue B missing? And Carol? Hmmm.

My Ya Ya peeps ... dinner, Easter hat creation, and Sangria. Lots of Sangria. LOL. I am SO LUCKY to be part of this fine group of women who just happen to live in this neighborhood.
Fun!!!

Ta ta. I hope you had a great Thursday!  Tomorrow is Good Friday. God bless.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 1, 2015

Merry Christmas!!! Er, April Fools!  Mary Beth sent this pictorial on Moscow's stray dogs which amazed me. The dogs are amazingly smart, but I can't understand why are there so many strays in a modern city. Nevertheless, this was well written and the photos are really terrific.

It's a bit cloudy this morning in the Sunshine State. Mark decided to work on his riding lawnmower. As you know, it's quite the project. Randy is hoping it'll be ready soon for cutting grass! I told Mark he has to add a seatbelt with the way it has a jackrabbit start. LOL

Mr. Putterer ... having fun!

Mark's secondary project ...

a shelf in the boathouse for his smoker! Nice.

We phoned Randy ... he was up to his neck in laundry and unable to join us for practice bowling today. Mark did great ... me, not so much. :-(

Tonight ... relaxing with TV shows American Idol and Nashville. It's a Betty Ford night; just sayin'. LOL. It seems we've had a lot of parties lately ... and tomorrow is Ya Ya's for me. (Another fun night!) yay.

Hope your day was fun, too.
