It's a Good Morning at our house. We dodged a rainstorm system that devastated the northeast from Florida to Maine ... remnants of T.S. Karen. 

Mark is cooking a Frittata for our breakfast while I begin our daily journal. He creates some delicious dishes ... and I do the (sometimes major) cleanup. Haha. 

Randy and Linda arrived just as the rock was delivered.  Nice to have help! Within a couple of hours, the rock was in place and we went in to cool down. Mark found Sons of Anarchy to watch and I made drinks and popcorn!  

It's now 3:30, "The Staggerman's" have gone home and it's showers and nap-30. LOL 

We had Happy Hour on our new patio ... until the rain started. It was lovely ... the rain preceded our first fall weather!  Yay. 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2013

It's a good day for projects!  Mark moved another 25 wheelbarrows of sand and smoothed the surface for chatahoochie stone. Meanwhile, I paid the bills, did four loads of laundry, ordered 3 yards of stone, booked an RV site for a 10 day holiday and started a jewelry project for the "Black and White Fur Ball" in November. 

We've had a 1/2" of rain this afternoon ... perfect for tamping down the sand for tomorrow's pea rock.  

SUNDAY. OCTOBER 6, 2013

It's a good morning; sunny and warm. We're off to Olivia's for breakfast with Linda and Randy. 

At Olivia's, we all ordered the same thing; 3 eggs scrambled, home fries and whole wheat toast. Haha

Linda and Randy, enjoying a good day; by the Ferran Park fountain, Lake Eustis. 

After breakfast, we went home, regrouped, then went for a cruise aboard "Mrs R B". 

The Lake Eustis Sailing Club has a regatta today ... this one's for you Scott!

Maggie and Robbie enjoyed their first ride since arriving home from our trip. 

It was a perfect day, all around. Look at that glorious blue sky!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2013

And we're off to Summerfield Florida to the grand opening of a new Camping World location ... with a $25 certificate for any item in the store. Update, there was a long line at the register, but we got a new filter for the RV water line, FREE. 

Most dads build their sons a treehouse or a fort ... but NOT in the Tawns family!  Alastair Tawns built his sons a Dalek. There's definitely genius on the Tawns side of the family. LOL

Our patio project continues with me filling the wheelbarrows and Mark wheeling them around back.  Fifty wheelbarrows remain to be shoveled and moved. THEN, we order the pea rock for our top coat.   

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2013

TGIF ... a lovely 88F day!  Mark has been working hard moving paver sand from the pile on our driveway to the patio project. 

About 4 yards of sand is in place ... 4 more to move. 

Meanwhile, Linda and Randy dropped in for a visit. Linda is now at a new place with her Alzheimers disease. She is anxiety ridden and hallucinating. Today, she was panicked to get home to her toddlers ... imaginary toddlers. Mark can always lighten the mood. He told Randy he'd best get "Octomom" home. LOL

Sue had a visit with Linda yesterday, and she was pretty good. Some days are just awful though!

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2013

We're all up early this morning ... 4 A.M. ... what's with that???

Could it be the fabulous pizza we gobbled for dinner?  Tony's Pizza is a small, out of the way, restaurant with excellent pizza. And, Mark and I know pizza!  LOL  And yes, we ate leftovers for breakfast!

Apparently, others have discovered Tony's Pizza too! Who knew?

Linda and Randy are in South Florida transferring doctor records and visiting. They plan to pop in on Sue and Wayne this morning. 

Mark is working on our patio project. Four yards of paver sand is being delivered today. 

Tonight is Ya Ya's ... our monthly neighborhood ladies get together. I feel a party coming on. 

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2013

It's a pretty morning ... 74F. Good day, eh?

Plans today include picking up Linda and driving to Fruitland Park to order sand and gravel for our project. Randy is having an afternoon to himself. 

Mark's tree stand in the Ocala Forest ... er, no hunting today. LOL

After several errand stops, we ordered paver sand at Brown's Landscape in Fruitland Park and saved $50 over the nearest company. Bazinga! Good deal.

The sand will be delivered tomorrow morning!  A good deal all around. 

This evening, we're meeting Randy for pizza.
