Last night at Stavros, we watched a very young child, about age 3, scroll through photos and use an iPhone 6. Of course we had to point her out to Randy who can't yet open or send a photo! LOL
Yesterday, Mark got an update on our Grand Junction repair. Apparently, the axle has been shipped from manufacturer Lippert. Yay. I hope we will be able to pick it up later this week. Another road trip!!! (Mark phoned about 4 o'clock today, and the owner, Jerry, was not aware whether or not the axle had arrived.) Tomorrow morning, we shall call Brad, our other contact.
We stopped at our Humane Society shop and bought a few items. The 2 men manning the store were fun. I think it's been a slow day due to the rainy day. Anyway, they were happy to sell 7 items!
Today's Walmart run was for the basics. We spotted Dawn working in the vision shop but she wasn't there when we checked out minutes later. Walmart had Mark's favorite Paisano wine for $10.97 and my Chardonnay for &12.97 ... Plus we needed two bottles for wine rack replenishment. When I got home, I unpacked the groceries and put the wine away. Well, I had to laugh. Years ago, when my mother broke a hip and was in the health center at John Knox, Diane went to visit and stayed a night or two at mom's apartment in Village Towers. She phoned Sue upset that mom had mass quantities of beer and wine but only a couple cans of tomato soup in her cupboard. Well, Sue and I thought this rather normal for mom ... after all, she ate many meals in the main dining room.
As I was putting away our wine, I saw that Mark had 5 L of Cabernet and 6 L of Paisano. I have 6 L of Chardonnay plus a full wine rack. I laughed and told Mark. His response "well it is hurricane season!" LOL. THAT was my mom's response to us when questioned!!! Hahaha.
So I think that was it for today. I did work on another necklace and photographed it; Mark puttered around getting a few chores done. So that's it for today. I hope you had a great second last day to September. Ta ta.
