SATURDAY AUGUST 8, 2015

Good morning! I just heard a rumble, and it's not my stomach! A rainstorm is on the way.

Mark is continuing the kitchen backsplash project today. Me? I'm going to spend my time in the craft room, packaging items for Monday's post office run and making several new items! Suddenly necklaces are the hot item. Haha.

Sue phoned to say that she and Wayne and the doggies were going to Elma in the motorhome for an overnight stay at Grant's place. They've had three days of 68° (high) and drizzly rain. Not pleasant. Meanwhile, guests Larry and Maggi have family and grandchildren visiting at Chippy's Hollow. Fishing was good, so a fish fry dinner was planned!

Randy phoned to tell Mark the story of having the huge tree stump removed and eventually ground-up for a bargain price of $550. Wow. It was "someone" he knew through the Hideaway. Apparently they had a F150 truck which they loaded, er, overloaded, so much that Randy thought the axles might break. Next Tuesday, they are coming back to grind the stump. Yay.

About 230, we headed over to Sears to pick up our glasses. We had a kerfuffle the last time we went when Mark sat in the car and sent me in. I told the woman to put the glasses where they probably weren't going to fit very comfortably. LOL Actually, we had pretty much given up on ever getting them until I got an email survey about our Sears optical experience. I completed it, and behold, received a phone call from Sears. The long and short is ... Mark went to pick up our glasses but came out without them.  There was a woman with three kids running amok and several ne're-do-wells waiting for the bus. Mark decided he wasn't going to wait, so off to Lowes home-improvement store for a few supplies we went. Since we had Robbie with us, I sat in the car.

Keeping an eye on things in the parking lot. ;-)

EBay sales continue to be fairly brisk. I sold two necklaces and one anklet display this morning! Cool. Between making, wrapping and packing and shipping, this little hobby keeps me quite busy. Wow.

Today is Hailey Marie's birthday. Of course we won't see her, but did send a card and a little money.  Randy and Dawn went to meet her family as it is granddaughter Charlotte's second birthday. They were going to a park this afternoon ... and we hope the weather holds for them.

Mark and I went to Tony's pizza for dinner. At the booth behind Mark, we heard (watched) an assneck pervert hit on a young waitress by the name of Summer.  OMG it was ridiculous. The perv's wife said nothing, so she's apparently an accomplice. I called the waitress told over and told her to watch her back. I sent her a picture of the pervert to her in case there was any issue. We then notified her manager of the issue. (I wanted to confront the guy but, that was "the former me".)  Haha.

This is MY perv!  Haha.

This is the waitresses' stalker perv.
Can you believe that he brought his phone out and showed our waitress several pictures he took of other waitresses in the area!!! His comments were ... "Oh, she no longer works there!" or "She's "not there" anymore. Hmm ... where is she? Creepy? Or nutty, or what?

Well, after looking through Lake County Florida's sex offender list, I didn't see him ... but I'll be watching.
