MONDAY MAY 11, 2015

The It's a beautiful (muggy) morning at Easterlin Park in Oakland Park. We were up at 7:30 ... ham and eggs for brekkie ... tidied the rig and on the road by 8:55 for home.

This is a cool banana spider Mark found at the park!

We had a wonderful three days of visiting! It was great to see Sue and Wayne, and have a couple of dinners together. We caught up on news and had a great time! Saturday afternoon, Rod and Shay came for lunch at the RV. 230, Matt, Tiffany, Hailey and Isabella arrived for a visit. Yesterday, we saw our friend Diane at her new place in Margate, and then went to Sue and Wayne's for dinner. Carol & Jack came over afterward and brought dessert. So all in all, it was a wonderful weekend.

Traffic was light getting to Florida's Turnpike. At 11:10, we stopped at Fort Drum Plaza for a break and lunch.

Wow, the fort drum plaza is beautiful now. There's good parking for buses and RVs. We had a look around, then ate lunch at our own kitchen table. Cold baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad ... a real feast. We were back on the road by 1133 ... and arrived home at 1:40. It was a smooth drive!

I saw this rainbow/tornado combination on the news a couple of days ago. It was in Colorado!

Every cloud has a silver lining ...
but this funnel cloud has a rainbow! Wow!

So, the rest of today will be sorting mail and reorganizing. Blah. Haha.

Well, actually, Randy and Dawn stopped in after Randy's doctor appointment. It seems he came down with a bad case of bronchitis. Antibiotic injections and prescription medication should take care of it. Despite not feeling well, they had a very good time in Costa Rica and had many stories to tell over a couple of medicinal beer. LOL

How was your Monday?
