That about sums it up. Ha! I just have THE BEST ideas during the night.
Morning arrived, right on cue, and we set up for the community garage sale. It's a lot of effort ...
Mark is NOT a garage sale fan but was, as always, a good sport. One snooty "dealer" came poking about and commented my Blue Willow dinnerware was "too expensive" at $120. I asked his opinion ... $15 a place setting at a garage sale! "Fine!" I said, "Mine's $120 for 12 place settings!" Haha! Got that old bugger's goat.
There was plenty of traffic jams on our street! By 11 we'd sold $200+. Not bad for such reluctant participants.
After a short afternoon nap, I got ready for Ya Ya's and Mark to hang out with Lew.
Five of us arrived in our Ya Ya shirts ... usually just 1 shows up ...
so, I thought it deserved a picture! Seated are Nancy, Florence & Anita ... standing is Kate, next to me.
Wayne called tonight with some interesting news. Yesterday, he and a friend went to Moroso Speedway ... and took a Porsche for a spin. It was apparently a lot of FUN! (Mark thought Wayne a "late boomer-bloomer" for his mid-life crisis!) LOL
Rattled Randy was still prepping for Dawn's family's arrival later tonight. It'll be a weekend of "Geegpa" fun and games with her grandchildren, children, mom, sisters & mates. LOL.
Hope your Thursday was fabulous.
