SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8, 2015

Good middle of the night! It's my old pal, insomnia. As usual, I drank a soda and went back to bed an hour later. Haha.

Did I carelessly omit the beautiful flowers from Lynn & Lew yesterday?

What a nice birthday treat! I had several phone calls, 7 birthday cards and a dozen emails! Thank you.

Dinner at Red Lobster was very good last night. I wish we'd had a bigger booth ... but it was a busy night there! With 4 huge platters on the table there wasn't room to breathe. Who designs these booths??? Gnomes?

Mrs R B finally escaped the boathouse today! We first went nearly an hour to The Hideaway, but the docks were full already with boats lined up, waiting, and a dozen more coming toward the place! Today was the busiest day on the water I've seen here on the Harris-Chain-of-Lakes! We headed to Palm Gardens for lunch!  It was over-crowded too, but we were lucky to find a spot on the main dock. No tables were available so we ordered and ate onboard!

Palm Gardens today! Crazy busy ... entertainment was the boaters trying to get into the ONE gas pump. A 28' twin engine boat blocked 50% of the pump area and the owner just disappeared. So, boaters were doing some interesting maneuvers! Mark fended a few off with our boat pole! LOL

Robbie made a new friend ... the girl made sound effects like birds. Later, Robbie just stared and tried mooching her lunch. LOL

This 30' boat had nowhere to dock ... so Captain Whiskeynoser just pulled up the boat ramp and blocked it ...
threw a cushion on the floor and went for a nap. WTF? There he remained while his two onboard friends looked embarrassed ... and kept drinking beer.

There were a lot of large boats on the lakes today that obviously were salt water craft. Unusual ... has the ocean been too rough lately?

Robbie, wrapped up in my jacket. It was 73F but chilly while speeding along. (Maybe his spring haircut was premature?) LOL

We were home by 4:45 and planned to watch the rocket launch ... but it was scrubbed in the last two minutes. Maybe tomorrow!  Ta ta. Hope you enjoyed your SUNDAY.
