Last year, Florida Wildlife Organization tracked a 650 lb Florida Black Bear on his one month trek around Florida. During those 30 days the bear covered more than 500 miles. Several times he crossed I-4!!!
The Florida Wildlife Corridor is designed to allow animals safe access from the Florida Keys to Georgia; over 1,000 miles of trails. Very cool.
We began the guest room transformation at 8:30 this morning. It's a cloudy day, great for painting the room "Summertime Yellow". The former color was frosty blue so this will be a big change. Our guest room was the first room painted when we bought this house 14 years ago. At that time, it was our cottage and we'd used "leftover" paint from our Boca home. So, it is overdue for a complete update.
Sue and Wayne are driving today and sent a message about noon ... here it is:
"Had a terrible fuel stop. 1st getting into a small truckstop we tore up r mudflat & dragged the hitch. Then got to pumps & out of order. Had to go across street to car pumps & they told us diesel at wrong island. We had to straddle ALL pumps to get fuel. Took over an hour !!!"
Mark wished Sue had gotten a picture! The brat! LOL Randy's waiting for the scratch and dent sale. Haha.
Tomorrow, we're meeting Randy and a friend at Olivia's for breakfast. Then, it'll be back to painting.
