Canadians know a thing or two about fog ... Canada, (Indian name for "Big Village") has more lakes than the rest of the world combined!
Kyle and Gavin got their wish ... more fishing! Grandpa Wayne and Mark took them on the Tahoe once the sun started to burn through the mist.
Fishing near the pros!!!
Mark showing off their catch :-)
Meanwhile, friend and neighbor, Joanne, had her dog, Timber, take off this morning with a neighborhood roamer, Shady Lady. About 3 weeks ago, we 'rescued' this mischief maker and found her owners. Apparently, Shady Lady has an admirer in Timber. Worrisome, we know there's a wolf on our road!
After lunch, Gavin, Nana Sue and Julie play Mexican Dominoes for a couple of rounds. Then, Kyle and Julie went to Chippy's Hollow to finish the wind chime.
Kyle with his project.
Lookin' good ... Gavin and Kyle.
Wayne and Sue drove the boys to Falcon for their week's holiday and enjoyed a visit.
Julie and Mark watched two frisky muskrats diving for crabs while sipping a cocktail. Maggie and Robbie watched intently, but didn't move. When a muskrat finally spotted us, it started an alarming chirping sound that went on for 10 minutes or more!!! We wondered maybe babies were about?
Sue, Wayne, Julius and Shorty joined us about 6 and we had salad, crusty rolls, fish fry and rice. A black mink skirted under Chippy's Hollow.
We sat and watched the moon rise; a warm, sticky evening and called it a day about 10.
