Mark and Julie are moving their rig to Kurian's driveway then 'moving' into Chippy's Hollow for summer. While buying supplies at Walmart, Mark couldn't believe how pleasant the male cashier was. "What do you have planned for today?". (Moving). "Really! Where are you from?". (Florida). "Wow! And you traveled all that way to come to Kenora. That's great!!! Is this your first time here?". (No). "Then you liked us enough to come back! I hope you have a wonderful stay and travel safe!". (Thanks).
I needn't mention 90% of American cashiers have trouble uttering "Is that debit or credit?".
Linda and Randy have arrived at Bob and Jill's in Clearwater Bay and at last conversation, were sitting on the deck in the sunshine. Mark and Julie have been invited for there dinner tomorrow,
Sue and Wayne attended the first dock party of the season last night. They are cooking chicken on the barbecue tonight, and we are invited. Nice. :-)
There was a crazy gathering of crows this morning ... about 20 of them making lots of noise. The neighbor next-door to us here at Anicinabe will be happy to note the nuisance crow seems to be gone. For two days, the nuisance crow was pecking at their bumper and anything shiny on their motorcoach. There are actual paint chips from the bird!!! We are sure happy that our rig is not as shiny as theirs. LOL
Photo of inukshuk at Anicinabe. These are aboriginal way markers, seen on trails and roads.
