Jack & Carol ... celebrating Jack's birthday with a dance. Happy Birthday to youuuu! ;-) ... at Pompano's Tiki Hut on the beach. Thank you Sue & Wayne for the great pic.
This morning, Mark started a pork roast in the smoker. I wanted to invite friends, but he said this is a "trial run." He had a mixture of sugars and spices to add during the all-day process.
Me, it was household laundry day and also washing 3 jackets and 4 knee braces for eBay ads. Haha. (Sue sold three pair of women's panties, not hers, ha ha, for $9 on eBay!!!) Egad. LOL. Now we're ALL wondering whose panties they were???
Today, Tampa Bay had a fantabulous waterspout!!!
Awesome textbook example! Wowser. Wouldn't it be awesome to boat into that!!! Are we in Okladokie??? LOL. OK, I've been over served! Hahaha.
After years and years of telemarketing calls, Mark and I finally figured out how to deal with them. When they answer, day "Goal laws your money and Shea Shea auntie I need a Judia Paalaa me at all. Lies your Maurier. Ta ta." And they will hang up on you first. Hahaha.
Howdy pork lovers (eaters!).
It's carving time. (I can't tell you how awesome it smells!!! Yumm!) Hmmm, Marky loves it ... me??? 10 more hours!!! Haha.
Alright. We were not impressed. The next time Mark will try something different. The meat was nicely cooked, it was tender, but it did not have the flavor that a restaurant smoker gives it. WTF. I suspect, it must be basted, often. Otherwise, how would the flavor of the caramelized sugar bake in ???
Well, it has turned into a "Partay!" ... of two. We wish we had friends to share in the moment.
Meanwhile, Tony, Aurelia & Chessie are in Oklahoma City tonight. The San Antonio Spurs are battling the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team. Go OKC!!!👏
Here are pictures of the Devon Tower, that Mark worked on for a year and a half in Oklahoma City. Go thunder!!!
Ta ta.
