Good morning. It's 84° and sunny at 11 o'clock! Today's plans include bowling, Mexican dominoes and dinner at Randy's and Dawn's. Busy, busy busy.
Meanwhile, Rose arrived home safely to Lake of the Woods with travel mate, George.
George the monkey, enjoyed the ride but was happy to relax on the deck at the lake! It won't be long until there's water there, not ice. Enjoy!!!
Sue has been working on a bowling fundraiser for Shih Tzu rescue for several months now. Yesterday was the big event with 60 bowlers! They raised more than $4000!!! Yay. That's fantastic, and it was the first one! (An annual event???) Good work, Sue (and Wayne)!
EBay has been sporadic this past week. Over the weekend, I've sold two shelf-sitter figurines, three pairs of earrings, and one brooch. The grandfather clock I have listed for sale for $239 sold, but to a person in Russia. My listing says "pick up only" but I guess that did not translate into Russian. LOL. I had quite a time explaining online that I was not going to ship the clock to him! He was willing to pay, but it would be about $400 to ship it. And, that would be after I crated & packed the clock. No deal. LOL. So it's back on eBay!
Mark and I went bowling ... practice only, while the rest of the gang went to the Hideaway. We'll get together at 6 for a ham dinner and a game of dominoes.
Our resident Chickadees are getting big enough to peek out the doorway!
Momma is busy feeding her brood ... I think one is bigger than the others!
We arrived with a flagpole for Randy's half American, half Canadian that he was given in Tampa last January. After finding the perfect place in the yard, Bob, Randy and Mark installed it.
Randy and Mark posing with the flag. LOL
Then "everyone" got in on the fun.
Saluting the flag, Dawn, Randy, Jill, Mark and Bob. Haha. It's perfect.
The gang spent too much time having fun at the Hideaway so there was no cooking done. They picked up two Dominoes pizzas instead of baking ham. LOL. Then, the Mexican Dominoes came out. Bob and Jill caught on quickly.
We had dozens of laughs and, as Bob said, "There wasn't any hockey on anyway!" LOL
During the game, Dawn made the potato casserole for tomorrow's dinner. Well, she has an interesting way of grating cheese ... Michigan style, Mark called it. Here's Mark's imitation ...
... of Dawn gyrating, er, grating ...
the cheese! You can imagine the whistles and cat calls. LOL
So, we were off home by 10 as Dawn works tomorrow and it's a repeat party tomorrow night. Haha.
Ta ta. I hope your SUNDAY was grand too!
