MONDAY, AUGUST 11, 2014

Another beautiful bright morning in Central Florida. Mark was up early, fed the dogs then went outside to trim the Bougainvillea. We're expecting the window installer to do the final measurements for our window order. Me, you ask? I began my day with two loads of laundry, running the dishwasher and tidying the house. All chores were finished before 9:30!

It's been a tough week for 10-year-olds in Florida! A boy was bitten after he jumped into a lake and right on top of a submerged alligator. The gator bit but let loose when the boy punched it in the snout. A girl was in knee deep water and bitten by a shark. Both kids have big stories to tell when returning to school this month! They were treated and released from hospital.

Mark and I just came back from a long walk with the dogs. Well, long for me and the Scotties. Ha ha. It's just lovely today. 65% humidity and 88. Mark made "diet" soup today so the "holiday" is officially done.

About 3 o'clock Randy and Darlene arrived on the Harley for a visit. A hospice volunteer was home with Linda. We're so pleased Randy has a little help through hospice.

We sat at the Sunroom bar, had a drink and yakked.

Tomorrow, Mark and I are taking Darlene to Daytona Beach.
