MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2014

"Good Morning America", our favorite morning news show, now has 9 ads every 5 minutes of content. Usually, we prerecord it and blast through the commercial spots but "tried" to watch it live on the bedroom TV. We gave up and moved to the livingroom and coffee within a half hour.

It was a busy Monday morning with bill paying, filing and laundry. Mark trimmed another branch on an offending tree that drops leaves into the boathouse eavetroughs.

It was a perfect boating day !  We phoned Randy and they arrived for cocktail hour aboard. We cruised Haines Creek; some nice affordable waterfront properties and plenty of boat traffic.

Robbie spotted a huge flock of birds, barked and got himself so wound up we had to grab him!

Near the locks on Haines Creek, we came upon a roost ... full of fledgling herons!!! It was nice to watch them vie and test their skills.
Establishing a "pecking order!"

We arrived home about 6 and made buffalo chicken pizza!  It was very good. Linda wanted to go home about seven, so they left right after eating.

I bought Linda a soft, fluffy, plush bunny at Walgreens yesterday ... and she loved it. Twice, she said "Thanks!"  I hope it's a comfort to her. Sue and I were talking last week about the stuffed "monkies" Linda bought us when we were little ... we loved them!

Sue with her Christmas present from Linda ... a favorite for years!
