It's one of those restless nights. A warm night, that's for sure; 78F at 2:20 a.m. Time for an ice cold glass of water!
We heard this morning our longtime friend, Charlie Dowling, passed away at home in Ontario. Charlie fought the brave fight with dignity and grace. He was a kind, thoughtful friend to us. We cannot fathom the depths of Rose's pain; married nearly 40 years.

Mark and I spent a somber day puttering about on chores. A cold front is approaching so we may get a drop of rain this evening.
